Participation has helped me immeasurably. The industry understanding from building connections across all sectors has given me far more than I would accredit to my GMPD certification. Depth of market insights and trends, across markets, sectors and industries.

I have enjoyed every Movers & Shakers - Professionals in Global Mobility event I have been too. Being new to sales and business development in mobility (not new to mobility 😊), it has been really beneficial to meet with peers, get insight and have learned a load.

Also great being a part of an event where it is about putting yourself out there and engaging, no name badges, just take the leap, you never know who may end up connecting with.

I have only been to one event so far and really enjoyed it. Damian and Caroline are wonderful hosts and pick great locations. It is a very professional but also super relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I have met some great people and we had interesting and thought provoking conversations.

I've always loved the events for a few main reasons. 1) the regularity. It allows cross company connections to flourish! Too often you meet peers who may be outside of your daily connections (due to role or company provision) at events and simply don't see or hear from them for a year +. Movers & Shakers - Professionals in Global Mobility allows more consistent connections 2) breadth of attendees. There's a great range of companies present and within that a range in roles. Naturally most attending are external facing / sales roles so there is a lot of similarity despite differences! 3) atmosphere. It's always been extremely inclusive of new people or new starters into a role. It's a great leap for starters into GM or supply to GM.

I have been networking for many years, in various countries, within global mobility/relocation/removals etc. So hats off to Damian Porter & Caroline Breeds as the Movers & Shakers - Professionals in Global Mobility seems to get the frequency, location, & mood just right each time.

I network for various reasons such as making new connections, sales opportunities, industry news, friendships, & keeping in touch with current customers etc, and all the boxes get ticked with this group ✅

Movers & Shakers has truly fostered collaboration across continents, building trust and strong relationships within the global mobility and relocation sectors. It's fantastic to see key industry trends being discussed, from immigration to AI and sustainability. One suggestion would be to introduce expert speakers in each meeting to tackle the current challenges we face, such as global mobility, removals, immigration, NDI, and sustainability.

This would provide even more insights into the evolving landscape and foster actionable solutions. Looking forward to future events and continued participation!
